Hair glaze… who ever heard of a hair glaze?
My current hair situation is medium brown roots and a blonde balayage and as everyone knows that (a) going from brunette to blonde is tricky and (b) maintaining it can be a bitch. When I heard about a hair glaze treatment I thought I just had to try it.
I’ve had my ginger hair for two years and I’ve been contemplating a change for a while, so this past month I took the plunge!
Red hair is notorious for being difficult to maintain! It’s very quick to fade and that makes dyeing a frequent occurrence. The colour I wanted to go for was something more wintry, I wanted more of a red/cherry shade. After spending quite some time in the dye aisle of Superdrug, I picked up Garnier Olia Dark Garnet. I have used the same brand but the 7.4 shade and quite liked it. I felt that my hair was a lot less dry after colouring so I thought I would definitely give this one a whirl.
Today, I went to the Umberto Giannini salon in Selfridges to get my hair coloured. I have been thinking about changing my hair for a while. I knew that I either needed to get my blonde baliaj topped up, or go for something different.
I decided I wanted a change. I’ve got a new job and this fresh start has sparked a whole new me.
